Okauchee Lake Cottage with Fantastic Lake Frontage

This fully furnished lake cottage will be rented on a weekly basis ONLY between June 1st through September 3rd. Minimum amount of days may be required and seasonal pricing applies.

This updated classic lake cottage, located on the picturesque Okauchee Lake, offers guests the ability to relax on the lake; while being conveniently located between multiple metropolitan areas. The home can accommodate six individuals, with 3 bedrooms, 4 beds, and 1 bath.

Recently renovated, this home provides modern amenities and stylish furnishings, with the classic charm of a traditional lake cottage. Whether you are looking to spend time on the sun porch facing the lake, sitting on the porch grilling, around the bonfire, or simply enjoying the 200’ of lake frontage, you’re sure to have a fabulous time vacationing at the Okauchee Lake Cottage.

Bedrooms: 3

Beds: 4 (2 queens & 2 twins)

Bathroom: 1 (with shower over tub)

Parking Spaces: 2 surface parking spaces (parking area shared among other rentals): If you bring more than two cars, please park them behind one another, to ensure all who utilize the parking area have enough space.

Features: A grill, fire pit, washer and dryer, coffee grinder, coffee maker, toaster, kitchen utensils, baking pots and pans, grilling instruments and more! For the warmer months, there are 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, pier, orange life jackets, and beach chairs available.

Pet-Friendly?: Yes! However, we do have a pet fee. Also, please see the rules for the additional information regarding pets in the rental.

Rentable Boat: At the rental we provide a 25 foot Crest Pontoon boat that guests may rent out by the day or week, for an additional fee. The rental rates are comparable to other boat rental companies in the area, and can be provided upon request. If you are interested in renting the boat, please let us know.  The boat will be no smoking, but will be pet-friendly.

Bringing a Boat?

If you’re looking to bring your own boat with you to the cottage, you must run it past us first. We will need to know type and size of boat, as well as if you’ll be needing a space to park the trailer (and trailer size). For guests who do decide to bring their own boat, please acknowledge that we do not provide a lift or any structure to hold your boat, besides a floating pier in a slightly protected bay. Additionally, based on the location of the home, large waves can often be disruptive to boats; therefore, all guests who bring their own boats assume all responsibility of any damage to their boat or the home’s waterfront equipment. We do not provide extra bumpers or ropes to tie boats to the pier.

If you do bring a boat and still are looking to rent the pontoon boat, you’ll need to inquire as to the possibility of doing so; as we are not certain as to whether we can logistically accommodate  such a request.

Okauchee Lake Cottage Rules:

• No smoking or vaping of any kind within the rental. If you need to partake in these activities during your stay, please do so outside and clean up any mess it creates.
• Please do not take food or shoes upstairs.
• Please do not eat food while on the couch.
• Do not leave doors to the rental open, anymore than necessary, as this encourages insects to enter the rental.
• No parties or events.
• There are many stairs at this rental, with about 25 to get up and down from the cottage and stairs inside the home itself. Anyone who rents must acknowledge this fact.
• We ask that no more than 6 people are spending the night at the rental; although individuals staying at the cottage are welcome to have non-overnight guests over during their stay.
• Please clean up any messes/spills that occur during your stay.

Pet Rules . . .

• • $15/per pet/per day
  • Must inform us of size, breed, and age of animal
  • Keep pets off of furniture
  • When leaving pets alone, please crate them on the main level vinyl flooring
  • Clean up all messes made by pet, both inside and outside
  • No pet aggressive or people aggressive animals allowed (other dogs live around the home)
